Miba Skybar is a unique environment where you can savour the diverse charms of the Costa Tropical at its finest. The spectacular location perched on our rooftop offers a sensation of total immersion in the spectacular landscape with the 12th century Moorish castle of Salobreña directly opposite and a divine view down to the green fields of sugar cane and mangos, the glistening sea, the rocky outcrop of El Peñon in the middle of the beach and the charming little villages of La Guardia and La Caleta. To call the sensation magical is an understatement, the view is timeless and constantly evolves before your eyes. Sunsets are spectacular, sunrises are enchanting, the new moon is mystical and full moons are ethereal. So take a seat at one of our tables, sit back, relax and enjoy the company while we serve you with refreshing drinks and fine food. The combination of our great service, original drinks, creative cooking and this unique location are the reason why the prestigious Repsol guide has rewarded our Skybar with a Solete in 2022 and 2023.

Miba Skybar primarily functions as an open-air, rooftop bar. Our main opening times are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons as well as on public holidays. Naturally this is dependent upon the weather and on the few days where it rains or there are strong winds we do not open. The rest of the year we offer a curated drinks menu that places special emphasis on our star local product of rum. Try one of our refreshing mojitos, or a classical Cuba Libre, lounge around, chat with friends and take in the scenery. We also offer a great selection of gins, whiskies as well as classic coktails. Of course we also serve coffee, tea and non-alcoholic beverages for those who prefer something without alcohol. Whatever you choose to consume, you will find the minutes become hours as time stands still and you simply enjoy being in this wonderful space and sharing a drink with friends or family.

Every summer (from the last week of June until mid September) we make the most of the sultry summer evenings to offer our customers the exceptional experience of dining in our Skybar at night. The combination of the illuminated castle, twinkling stars, heavenly moonlight and dining al fresco fanned by cool breezes coming off the sea is a sensory indulgence and something our customers come back for year after year. The days we serve dinner may change from year to year, so check our opening hours and the lastest news for up-to-date information. We also try and offer live music one night a week for the ultimate Skybar experience. Tables are highly sought after so we strongly recommend that you reserve well in advance.
Poolside perfection

One half of our skybar is the sublime pool area that is strictly reserved for our hotel guests. What better way to cool off in summer by taking a refreshing dip in our infinity edge pool that merges perfectly into the endless Mediterranean horizon. Or relaxing in the shade on one of our comfortable loungers whilst sipping on a cocktail. Of course, you can also soak up the sun to your heart's content all year round. During the day the Skybar is reserved for hotel guests and when we open the bar to the public we install some extra privacy around the pool. On the days when we serve dinner in the Skybar, the pool closes slightly earlier. Check our pool hours for more details. Our pool uses salt water and is not heated in winter.
